Ham & Cheese Media is heading for television.* The program - Ham & Cheese Theatre.

What is it?
It’s a sketch show. And the material, unlike cotton, rayon and this joke - is really quite funny.
We will traverse our local area of the Greater west of Sydney, shoot the material and get it ‘out there’ across the next several months.
Where is ‘out there’?
The first installments will take the forms of publicly available webisodes of selected sketches. Larger parts of the initiative will take the form of conventional standalone television episodes, and the complete ‘series one’ collection (yes, with all the special features, diaries and production tips) will be available on DVD in 2012.
What’s going to be on this website?
Links to the videos & our ‘partners in crime’, our facebook page, twitter feed etc. along with production diary, blog stuff and hints and tips on the whole production process, sharing what we learn.
* if contract negotiations for free-to-air broadcast ‘stall’ we’ll still watch it on our own televisions
via the miracle of the Digital Versatile Disc - so yes, Ham & Cheese Theatre is heading for television!

OUR MISSION . . .
HOW WE SHOOT
We're all too old to have grown up with digital recording technology (at least one of us bought a BetaMax VCR) but that doesn't mean we haven't grabbed digital with our eager little mittens. We're proud to say that we will deliver Ham & Cheese Theatre to your screens in glorious HD. Probably the 720p 'baby' HD, but HD nonetheless! Our primary equipment is Canon, and are content to enter into endorsement negotiations at any stage...
KILLING THE PLANET?
Not much! Ham & Cheese Media uses reusable SD-Card based audio and video recording equipment, available lighting ("EXTERIOR - DAY" is written atop many pages of Dave's scripts) or low power consumption flourescent / LED lighting rigs if required. All battery powered equipment (including the LED lights) is fed with rechargeable batteries.
A conscious effort has been made to use low wattage devices across the board. A competent crew and actors with decades of experience ensure that a day of shooting Ham & Cheese Theatre is an efficient day indeed. The most significant emissions are usually the result of a poor dietary choice from the DOP.
